Native photo picker bytes provide a safer fallback for Android and iPhone Dispatch story uploads. Automated checks and the Expo OTA publication passed; phone-specific installation and posting still need hands-on retesting.

Account-safe stories

Story feeds clear and pending fetches are invalidated when the signed-in account changes. Automated privacy and lifecycle tests were added. A follow-up hardening change prepares photo uploads for feed posts and private tester screenshots using format-verified device bytes instead of unreliable file URIs; phone-specific testing is still required.

Release intel and bug reporting

This page gives testers a single location for update instructions, exact source changes and bug-report steps. Beta #29 is only considered published after the website build and production verification succeed.

BETA #30 · SIGNED APK PUBLISHED

Signed Android beta release

Android Beta #30 was published as a signed GitHub prerelease on October 11, 2026, following EAS archive integrity checks. Download the Beta #30 signed APK above. OTA delivery requires a compatible native runtime (current 1.0.7) and update channel. Earlier installed APKs may require reinstalling or installing over an existing matching-signature package; real-device installation has not been verified. The native iPhone TestFlight build is not yet verified or available to testers; use the iPhone web app. The official Google Play and Apple App Store releases and paid features remain unverified/inactive.

Website and iPhone Home Screen updates come from reconfeed.com. Native Android/iOS apps only receive OTA changes when the installed build's runtime and channel match; app store releases and native build changes require separate distribution.

How to update your beta

Website or Safari: open reconfeed.com/app/ and refresh for the latest published web release.
Android APK: close and reopen the app while online to allow a compatible Expo OTA update to be checked. Some updates may apply on the next app start; incompatible native versions require a newly signed APK.
Installing for the first time: use the signed Android APK link above. Google Play and Apple App Store availability are not confirmed. Only install software you trust.
Report what failed: in ReconFeed open Profile → the three-line Field HQ menu → File a SITREP (bug). Include device type, screen size if known, exact steps and an optional screenshot. Reports stay private to the reporting/authorized review workflows.

Private test issues should not be posted in public comments. If you cannot open the app, use the beta tester contact form.

Creator payouts and Bullets

ReconFeed is not paying creators for views, sharing ad revenue, selling Bullets or offering cash-outs in this beta. Nothing on this page is a promise of future earnings. Explore legitimate early creator opportunities.
