Privacy Policy

ReconFeed operates an adult-oriented social-media beta. For privacy inquiries, contact reconfeed@reconfeed.com. The operator's final legal-entity identification and any required local privacy representative must be confirmed before expanding into additional jurisdictions.
Information processed
- Advertiser partnership requests: If you voluntarily use the advertiser inquiry form, ReconFeed collects your name, email, optional organization, optional HTTPS website, message, adult confirmation and contact consent solely to review and reply. The funding-status page does not collect prospective investor details or investment commitments. No payment or identity-document details are requested. Advertiser inquiries are restricted to owner review and may be requested for deletion subject to lawful retention obligations.
- Account and beta eligibility: email, username, display name, optional profile details, birthdate or age attestation where requested, gender, and political-party selection during current beta onboarding. Political-party selection is used for current beta eligibility and may remain temporarily in this browser's session storage to carry the choice from the beta page to signup. New account registrations save that choice in account metadata and the member profile record. It is visible to the member in their profile settings and available to authorized service administration. It is not included in public profile listings. Existing accounts without a saved selection are not assigned a party. Retention follows account retention and deletion procedures. This can be sensitive information under some privacy laws.
- Social activity: posts, images, videos, Stories, creator-declared promotional labels, audio labels, comments, likes, follows, blocks, saves, replies, direct messages, abuse reports and uploaded tester screenshots. Some information is visible to other users depending on the feature and settings.
- Personalization: preferences, muted terms, explicit feedback and—only when a user enables the optional personalization setting—watch history and related feed-interaction signals. Turning off personalized viewing-history tracking prevents future optional tracking; content interactions like likes and follows still function.
- Device and operation: session tokens, diagnostic logs, connection data handled by service providers, optional camera/microphone/gallery permissions, device platform, OS version and screen size when testers submit a bug report.
- Optional generation: prompts, settings and generation results if AI creation tools are enabled and used.
Purposes, recipients and legal context
Data is used to provide accounts, manage the beta, show content, route messages and follows, secure the service, respond to reports, investigate abuse, fulfill opted-in testing communications, and operate requested features. Service providers include Supabase for authentication/database/storage, Vercel for hosting, Expo for eligible mobile updates, and third-party generation infrastructure when applicable. Processing or hosting may occur internationally. We do not currently provide a feature to sell member profiles or conversations to advertisers. Any legally mandated sale/share/targeted-advertising disclosures require independent verification of the complete provider configuration.
Content visibility and safety
Profiles and published public posts may be visible to others or shared by direct URL. Some stored post media uses a public storage bucket and should not be treated as confidential, even where a private profile restricts in-app discovery. Private messages and reporter screenshots use application access controls. Do not submit secrets, government identifiers, or medical records through public posts.
Choices, retention and requests
Users can change available in-app preferences, stop optional history personalization, clear recommendation history, revoke device permissions, remove content where supported, and request access, correction or deletion by emailing the address above. We may verify account ownership. Information may be retained as necessary for service operation, legal requirements, abuse prevention, pending disputes and backups. A fully documented retention/deletion schedule is still pending operational review, and no fixed deadline is promised in this beta notice.
Request permanent account deletion
You may request deletion from the app under Profile → Settings and privacy → Account → Delete account, or use the public account-deletion instructions if you no longer have the app. An in-app request is recorded securely and requires an authorized operator to verify and finish deletion. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, subject to any faster applicable law, verification and lawful data-retention requirements. Account deletion is not merely deactivation and includes associated user-generated content unless retention is legally required. We will confirm completion by the verified account email; contact support if you do not receive confirmation.
Adults only and international rights
ReconFeed is intended only for adults 18+. The current age gate is self-declared; it is not independent identity verification. If you believe a minor has supplied information, contact us. Depending on where you live, applicable laws may grant access, correction, deletion, objection, portability, consent withdrawal or appeal rights. EU, UK and other targeted-market launches require country-specific lawful-basis, cross-border transfer, contact and retention assessment before marketing there.
