Marketplace Terms & Seller Responsibility

1. Independent transactions

Unless a specific service expressly says otherwise, ReconFeed is a platform and is not the buyer, seller, broker, shipper, warehouse, payment processor, or guarantor for items listed by users. Buyers and sellers transact with each other directly.

2. Seller responsibility

Each seller is solely responsible for their listings and sales, including accurate descriptions and photos, ownership and legal right to sell, item condition and safety, pricing, buyer communications, payment arrangements, packaging, shipping, delivery, carrier selection and compliance, applicable taxes, refunds, returns, warranties, and resolving disputes. Sellers must follow applicable laws, platform rules, and carrier restrictions.

3. Buyer responsibility

Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings and independently confirming the seller, item, condition, total price, payment method, shipping or pickup method, delivery timing, and return terms before sending payment or arranging pickup. Do not assume a listing has been inspected or verified by ReconFeed.

4. Shipping and fulfillment

Users must agree directly on whether an item will be shipped or collected, who pays shipping, packaging standards, carrier, insurance or tracking, delivery expectations, and what happens if an item is delayed, damaged, or lost. ReconFeed does not arrange, perform, or guarantee shipping or delivery unless a separate, expressly described service says otherwise.

5. No guarantee; legal limits

Listings and transactions are provided by users. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReconFeed disclaims responsibility for user listings, item quality or legality, payment, shipping, delivery, returns, or disputes between users. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

6. Prohibited activity and reports

Users may not list illegal or prohibited goods, counterfeit items, stolen property, or items restricted by law or carrier rules. Users can report suspicious or misleading listings. ReconFeed may remove content or restrict accounts under its platform rules, but does not promise to inspect every listing.

7. No assumption of verification

Seller profiles, reviews, and listing information are not a guarantee of identity, trustworthiness, product condition, or transaction outcome. Use caution and retain records of communications and payments.
