Delete your ReconFeed account

You can request permanent deletion of your ReconFeed account and associated data. This is not a request to pause, deactivate or merely hide the account.
From inside ReconFeed
- Sign in to ReconFeed on your phone or at ReconFeed.com/app.
- Open Profile → Settings and privacy → Account → Delete account & associated data.
- Review the warning and choose Request account deletion to confirm. The request is securely recorded and shown for operator review.
Submitting this request does not immediately erase your account. You can continue to sign in until verification and completion. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal requirements. We confirm completion via your verified account email.
Request deletion without the app
If you deleted the app, lost access to your account, or prefer email, you can still submit a request:
Email ReconFeed to request account and data deletion
Email reconfeed@reconfeed.com from your registered account email if possible. Include your ReconFeed username and that you request permanent deletion. Do not send a password or photo ID unless an authorized reviewer explicitly explains why additional verification is required.
Data removed and lawful retention
When the request is fulfilled, the team must remove the account and related personal data, including profile details, uploaded public posts, photos, videos, Stories, and social activity linked to your account, to the extent required. Technical backups, legally required transactional records, investigations and fraud-prevention records may be retained only where law permits or requires. We do not guarantee immediate removal from independent recipients' devices or third-party caches.
Questions, corrections and confirmation
Use reconfeed@reconfeed.com to ask about the request, correct an identity mismatch, or exercise another available privacy right. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
ReconFeed's team must actively process the request queue and confirm deletions. Publishing this page does not itself guarantee that every jurisdictional deletion obligation has been fulfilled.
